10. Q*Ball songs

Q*Ball songs

Q*Ball is an electronic pop/rock project that existed between 2001 and 2011. My main partner-in-crime was Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal, who co-produced, engineered, and performed guitars on all the songs on my first three self-released albums and a few digital singles that would follow. Ron also contributed his songwriting and vocal talents to many of the songs, and mixed and mastered all the songs, as well. Songs were featured on various MTV shows (Real World, Road Rules, Clone High USA, Pimp My Ride), Red Bull Extreme Sports DVDs, and in a few independent films. Heavily influenced by Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails, Faith No More, 90s-era U2, Beck, Prince and 80s synthpop.

Ron Scalzo - The Last Song For You To Burn

THE LAST SONG FOR YOU TO BURN Finally got her on the phone Wondering if this was another game Waiting for the roof to cave in From the weight of all my fucking shame To eat my humble pie To scramble up my brain Maybe this will be the same old deal Maybe this will be the one that’s real She sounds as amazing as she looks She’s cute and frazzled and she’s anxious And a little nervous, even Pleasantly surprised She said, “Meet me for a drink.” I can smell the other guys I can recognize the stink Amazing I guess I’m not the only one that’s burning inside Just another lost soul pretending I’m wise I’m just burning You’re just another serpent promising lies You start the fire then you run then you hide I guess I’m not the only one that’s burning inside But words just don’t mean anything To you Did anyone think this love could last so long? I promised you that this would be the last song For you to burn Ron Scalzo – piano, synths, loops, vocals Michael Celi – acoustic guitar, bass guitar Kalyn Stalinski – drums and percussion Music by Michael Celi & Ron Scalzo Words by Ron Scalzo Copyright 2015 Bald Freak Music (ASCAP) Produced by Ron Scalzo Recorded & engineered by Steven Lee Tracy @ St. Cecilia Studios, Tucson, AZ Mixed by Steven Lee Tracy Mastered by Adam Boose @ Cauliflower Audio From Ron Scalzo's new solo release, You Deserve The Best, on Bald Freak Music (BFM02)

16. Ron Scalzo - The Last Q*Ball Album

Ron Scalzo - The Last Q*Ball Album

My name is Ron Scalzo. Two years ago, my life was turned upside down by Superstorm Sandy. I lost pretty much everything and have relocated five different times since. Bald Freak Music, the independent record label I ran out of my basement, my home office and studio - drowned. My keyboards, my turntables, my microphones, my Beatles albums. Every CD, LP and cassette tape I owned. Every book I wrote a song lyric in. Every demo tape I ever made. All gone. It was as if my entire musical history had washed away. What survived were my Yamaha P22 upright piano, and these ten songs. Songs about rejection, recovery, and rebirth. Songs about heartache, heartbreak, and closure. Y'know.... Songs. These ten songs are The Last Q*Ball Album. All songs Copyright 2014 Bald Freak Music (ASCAP) THANK YOU FOR LISTENING!
