1. True North Adventures In 3 Minutes

True North Adventures In 3 Minutes

I have been on this boat six times now and are two weeks away from trip number 7 and 8. The True North is just a magnificent vessel with an awesome crew which take you to the most amazing locations. I was asked to put together a three minute summary of their adventures on the high seas which is literally impossible considering how much footage I have accumulated in the past six adventures. I have missed out so many highlights in trying to keep within 3 minutes it's not funny. Anyway it's just a teaser to get people interested enough to check out all of their cruise packages. For any of you out there who are sick of looking at boring old churches and museums in over crowded, dirty cities, consider a truly unique experience in places that can only be considered true wilderness. Enjoy...... Shot entirely on the 5D MK2 with Canon Lenses Music from Soundtrack Pro

SSU-2012-3-7 Living Holy Lives

Study 7 of 13 on 1 and 2 Thessalonians Scriptural Basis: 1 Thess. 4:1–12; Matt. 25:34–46; Gen. 39:9; John 13:34, 35. Key Text: “God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life” (1 Thess. 4:7, NIV). 1. We are told in 1 Thessalonians 4:7 to live a “holy life.” What is your understanding of what this means? 2. There is hardly a letter written by the apostle Paul that does not include a warning against sexual immorality. Why is this such a recurrent topic? 3. Why can sexual immorality and genuine love not reside together? 4. How can Christians embrace God’s will to be sexually pure without the idea that sex is dirty or unholy? 5. In what sense is the motive of pleasing God a better guiding principle than simply giving someone a list of rules to follow? 6. In 1 Thessalonians Paul frequently uses the phrase “more and more” to describe growth in character and Christian behavior. What can churches do to encourage this kind of “more and more”?

15. COCOA Showers of Blessing, Zimbabwe

COCOA Showers of Blessing, Zimbabwe

Showers of Blessing was established by leaders of the Associated Churches of Christ in Zimbabwe in 2007 to provide assistance with food distribution, the drilling of wells and the establishing of income generating projects. A well makes a huge impact on a village in a rural area. Installation of a borehole provides safe water and reduces diseases like cholera and dysentery. Safe water means that dams and dirty water holes can be dedicated to livestock, rather than people using them also for drinking. Access to safe water means that a greater variety of vegetables can be grown, improving nutrition for people with HIV/Aids while also providing small incomes. Members of the community expressed how the project has benefited them in terms of personal hygiene creating better opportunities for bathing, washing hands, cleaning and doing laundry. Here is a snapshot of the project. Music Credit- Deep Space & SecondNature by

Spring is here

This weekend, we will gather once again—uniting with unions, churches and community groups for a mass mobilization against police brutality, marching from Liberty Plaza to Union Square on Saturday, and then pitching tents outside the United Nations to protest dirty energy and environmental degradation on Sunday. This spring, the city will be filled with carnivals of rage and joy. See you in the streets. Read full article at :

PNS: SNP (Voiced TJing)

Poetess as a TJ! This is a performance version of my poem "PNS: SNP" that appeared in the anthology of contemporary Slovak poetry and prose "Prebúdzanie sedmospáčov: Antológia súčasnej poézie a prózy k 25. výročiu Nežnej revolúcie", edited by Mária Modrovich & Peter Šulej. The original poem consists of the urban folklore (graffiti, tags, wall messages, posters), text reappropriated from the Bratislava Bridge of the Slovak National Uprising - plus a phonetic alphabet representation and an oscilloscopic representation of some textual parts. Here I use Launchpad to trigger prerecorded fragments of the poem, read by Veronika Marcinčáková Husárová, Jana Kravjarová, Ľubomír Panák, Jozej Klampiar. The performance version follows the concept of the poem - where the author becomes the selector, textual DJ (TJ) who for the representation of contemporary Slovak expression, voices the urban folklore, but adds a sonic level to it ("Youth presents sound nečum poec sweet home" - as is written in the poem´s last line). I was partially inspired by George Bataille´s text in Documents (1930) called ‘L’Art Primitif’, in which he discusses graffiti carved illicitly by children inside churches in Ethiopia - and makes a direct link between graffiti and transformation: "It is very interesting to note that in these different cases it is always a matter of the transformation of objects, whether the object be a wall, a sheet of paper, or a toy. [...] It is a matter, above all, of transforming what is at hand. During early childhood the first sheet of paper that comes along, which you fill with dirty scribbling, does just fine. But…the principal transformation is not on the surface on which the drawing is made. The drawing itself develops and is repeated in different versions, as the representation of the object becomes more and more deformed. This evolution is easy to follow, starting with some scribbles. Chance isolates a visual resemblance from a few strange lines that can be fixed through repetition. This phrase represents a kind of second degree of transformation; that is to say, that the altered object (paper or wall) is transformed to the point where it becomes a new object, a horse, a head, a man. Finally, by dint of repetition, this new object is itself altered by a series of deformations. Art, since that is incontestably what it is, proceeds in this sense through successive destructions."

Analog Rebellion -

Every once in a while, a song comes to me so fast and so clearly that it forms itself into a completed idea from a simple pair of chords in just minutes. Such was the case with this song. I wrote it yesterday in about 15 minutes. I'm releasing it to you now so that I don't have a chance to mess it up with over thought. It's called "Spicy Paragraph". Here are the lyrics: I guess you followed me here, I can't say that I object Phone book thrown on the floor after years of neglect I'm just wishing for rain to wash out all these insects It won't come, I'm insane to waste time on such concepts Politicians, pigs in shit There are no heros on either side Fold now, cash in your chips The dealer is tongue-tied and weary eyed Fog circles in your mind And you do not mean to hurt these ideas flowing like gold in a river of sewage Take from me Walk all over my pride with the soles of your dirty, heathen feet You pray for a cleansing shower, but this county is a dust bowl Take from me Celebrities, bugs in a jar There are no heros on either side Bomb churches and hospitals Shoot up your school, or commit suicide Pipe bombs are effective if you just lure them to potential threats Like moths to an open flame ignite like matches for your cigarettes Subversive centrifuge testing out all of our morals like midday news Muslim haters all in a row, saying that they are the holy ones, and to take it from them

About Grace and Truth Ministries Jim and Mary Brown I have been preaching and teaching Bible for over 50 years. In 1957, I began studying the scriptures diligently after graduating from high school. In 1980, God began dealing with me, bringing me to what I believed was my deathbed in 1985. In the hospital, I awoke near death crying out to God, "Lord, You are going to kill me if I don't quit living for myself and saying all the truth in my power!!!" Thereafter, I began to say these blunt plain words that appeal to the elect sheep. As a result, I began to make more enemies than I could have ever imagined. I was sick and tired of the “mush” gospel that churches were preaching. My family was confused, and on many occasions on the way home from church, my wife would say, "he said such-and-such last week and he said this-and-that this week contradicting what he said the previous week." I began to say to my wife Mary, "don't listen to the preacher, because he doesn't know what he’s talking about." Finally, I said, "this is a waste of time! We are going home. We are not going to these churches anymore. I will teach you from our home." Twenty years ago, we started Grace and Truth Ministries which included my wife, son and one other young man. We started taping the sermons shortly thereafter. Grace and Truth Ministries is now meeting in a building located in Hendersonville, TN. Last year, by the grace of God, we gave away approximately 25,000 DVDs free-of-charge. We regularly add more television, radio and internet to get the truth to those who have ears to hear. If you are located in a city that does not air our programs, please contact us so that we can let you know how you may help to get this message out to God's predestinated elect family God Has Chosen Romans 8:29-30 - "For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified." Foreknow - to have a personal intimate relationship beforehand. God predetermined that all who belonged to him before the foundation of the world were to "conform" to the word of God in obedience to Christ. All that were predestined were "called", "justified", and "glorified" (past tense verbs). These were fixed in the mind of God before the world began. (Ephesians 1:4; Acts 13:48; II Thessalonians 2:13). The election of the saints is unto accountability (I Peter 1:2). The majority of the protestant church held to this doctrine during the reformation. It is the foundation of "The London Baptist Confession of Faith of 1689". You Baptists are supposed to be believing it and you've discarded this precious doctrine of Grace !!! No Free Will John 1:13 - Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. James 1:18 - Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures. Romans 9:15-16 - 15For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. 16So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy. John 5:21 - For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will. John 6:39 - And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. God Does All Things Isaiah 46:10 - Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure. Eccl. 3:14 - I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him. Ephesians 1:11 - In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will

20. TRANSFORMATION - TRAILER - Pilgrimage To Paris for COP 21 Climate Summit from North Cape Norway:

TRANSFORMATION - TRAILER - Pilgrimage To Paris for COP 21 Climate Summit from North Cape Norway:

Pilgrimage To Paris for COP 21 Climate Summit from North Cape Norway! In September of 2014 our film crew followed a unique and unprecedented group of religious leaders, scientists, environmentalists and politicians from around the world as they assembled at the United Nations in New York as part of the world’s largest climate summit. This group representing all the world’s major religions united for a single cause – to save the planet from what they consider it’s greatest threat: Climate Change! Christians, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, and countless indigenous religions participated in an Interfaith Summit to fight this threat. They united to promote the idea of being responsible stewards of the planet as demanded by all sacred texts! A clear message coming out of the New York Climate Summit is the ethical standards of behavior and cooperation that are now imperative. Dr. Olav Fykse Tveit (head of World Council of Churches) explains that a new attitude toward the earth and one another must be cultivated. This new attitude has to be essentially different than the market and profit driven attitude that now drives the global culture. It must be driven by an attitude that is deep in empathy, mindfulness, and able to see the interconnectedness. We will trace the commitments and ideas of the unprecedented environmental movement that started in New York in 2014 and follow its action on the Pilgrimage to Paris for the 2015 Climate Summit. It will be a meditation and exploration of turning ideas into action. The story travels to Norway where several key groups are helping to spearhead climate change policy. Early in January of 2015 Bishop Erling Petersen of the Church of Norway meets with Bjorn Vidar Leroen of Norsk Oil. This passionate discussion between two old child hood friends goes deep into business, ethics and spiritual believe creating a powerful discussion for transformation in Norway. North Cape Norway (the furthest point North in continental Europe) is the starting place for the Pilgrimage to Paris. Sacred water is collected from sights all along the pilgrimage representing issues in the community and the hope for healthy water in the future. We track this sacred bottle of water making its journey to Paris. Local people journey from this dramatic and powerful landscape to their hometown of Honningsvag, which is currently, ground zero for future oil drilling in the Artic. We explore the economic and spiritual issues facing this community, one that is symbolic of the current global situation of how we change life styles and beliefs towards a greener planet. The Pilgrimage travels to Hammerfest, Tromso and Lofoten, places rich in natural resources and pristine environments all facing the issues of vast resource development by the extractive industries. Bishops along with local people engage in a dialogue of possibilities. We introduce Jens Ulltviet Moe former Norwegian oil baron now investing heavily in renewable/sustainable energy. Svein Tveitdal former director of United Nations Environment Program and GRID Arendal along with Christine Torklep Meisingset Storebrand Investments, Bjørn Haugland, Executive Vice President and the Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) in DNV GL Group, Andreas Ytterstad Author Bridge To The Future, Anders Bjartnes of Energi og Klima, Ingrid Naess-Holm of Norwegian Church Aid, world famous climate scientist’s Dr. James E. Hansen (former head of NASA) and Dr. Kim Holmen (Director Norwegian Polar Institute) all giving us insight and knowledge into climate change and solutions to this immense problem. A deep conversation with Norway’s Green Party leader Rasmus Hansson explores government policy examining what is a real leaders ethical role. We document the historic withdraw of Norway’s Pension Fund (world’s wealthiest pension) from dirty worldwide coal investments. Marking a significant financial exit from high carbon business. The Pilgrimage travel’s through Arendal where we learn of the city’s zero carbon emissions policy and is the site of Arendal Environmental week where we capture the debate between top Norwegian Greens and more traditional Capitalists. The Pilgrimage arrives in Oslo where the Muslim, Sikh, Buddhists and Christians all join together for a day of unity and climate action! Then Royalty joins the movement. Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway and Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden make a powerful symbolic gesture by exchanging the sacred water. From here onto Paris for the 2015 Climate Summit! Produced, Directed and Filmed by James Anaquad Kleinert. Horse Medicine - Moving Cloud Productions Copyright 2015.
