South African pioneers of all things disco, slow and editorial, Slow Mo Lounge, have launched a new look for 2018.
To celebrate, they've enlisted the sounds of Essex-based, slow burner aficionado, Chuggin Edits, who has dropped a really groovy, soul-inspired mix.
In Gary's words, the mix is maxed out at 96 bpm. Featuring music from Karm ,Vigi, James Rod, Folamour, as well as Jo Wallace and Ashley Beadle's super-label Ram Rock.
Producer and DJ, Chuggin Edits, is a resident for The Last Days Of Shoreditch in London and is no stranger to the depth and infectious groove of slow mo as a genre.
As dynamic a button basher as he is a selector, Chuggin Edits relentlessly continues to deliver on scorching, floor banging edits, inspired by the likes of A Tribe Called Quest, Loose Change, and Stephanie Mills to name a few. His production credits include Deep Sense, FKR, Alpaca Edits, Masterworks Music and Boutade Musique (again, to name a few).
Welcome back Chuggs! South Africa loves you.
