This is the second Cohen song that I have covered, and will always return to his songs for they have much to teach us. He is one of my earliest influences, along with fellow Canadians Kate and Anna McGarrigle and Joni Mitchell.
My tribute to this true poet.

Cynicism, broken politics, lies, deceit: a fitting remix for the coming winter. Cohen's gravelly vocals set to an Italo disco groove in the vein of Baby's Gang and the interminable Giorgio Moroder
a friend had recorded this song in a flamenco style and asked me to sing over the top. I previously had not heard the track and I think we got it on the 2nd take. Maybe if we had more time we could have made it great.
