FM104 updates with ReelWorld ONE - jingles that "bounce out of the speakers!"
Dublin’s number one music station, FM104, is airing a new set of jingles from ReelWorld.
The branding went live on the radio this week using themes from the ReelWorld ONE updating jingle service but the ReelWorld European team at MediaCityUK have given them a special custom touch.
FM104 Production Director Paul Duffy: "The sound of FM104 needed refreshing rather than a complete change. We had a solid base with the 2013 package so it was a case of what we could do to take that forward.
Having worked with the guys at ReelWorld for years I knew exactly what they could do and they knew exactly what I wanted. Everything was very very easy and enjoyable from start to finish, although I’m sure Ant is delighted to see the back of me!
ReelWorld ONE is used by hundreds of radio stations around the world including Z100 New York and KIIS LA but as tastes evolve ReelWorld are happy to tailor the finished imaging exactly to the station’s requirements.
ReelWorld’s European Managing Director Anthony Gay said: “I’ve always been a big fan of FM104 and it’s an absolute honour to work with Paul, Dave and the guys in Dublin. They trusted us to take their sound and give it a special twist. We had a lot of fun making these.”
Paul added: "I love how they sound on air. It gives the station the exact lift I had in my head. I want jingles that bounce out of the speakers – And they do! I especially love the Top of Hour news sequence. It gives our news a fresh lease of life.”

Dublin's FM104 has celebrated their latest audience figures with a brand new sound from ReelWorld Productions.
The jingles are a re-sing of the successful Radio 538 package which originally aired on the market leading station in The Netherlands.
Programme Director at FM104 Dave Kelly is excited about the new image: "As Dublin's number one music station we believe in keeping things fresh. When we heard the Radio 538 package we just knew it was a perfect fit for our sound and the Dublin market. This is a great jingle package, packed with energy and a really strong logo that punches through on air."
ReelWorld's European Managing Director Anthony Gay is a big fan of Dublin: "It has to be one of my favourite places in the world and it's been an enormous pleasure to work with Dave, Pat, and the team at FM104 on their new sound. With the Radio Days festival moving to the city next year Irish radio continues to be vibrant and innovative."
ReelWorld continue to expand their European operations and recently launched a new European website to house their jingle and Production Vault services. Austria's Krone Hit, Berlin's 104.6 RTL, and Q Music in the The Netherlands are recent converts to the Production Vault CHR service.
