This is sort of a phase two of my track "Simple Changes For a Cat. Its primarily influenced by the music of Klaus Schulze. One audio track played live...so to speak.
As on most of my tracks here on the cloud...it has lots of delay.
Sound source: mopho key.
Daw: ableton live
vst: Timeless 2 from fabfilter
Ambient music for cats...or something like that :)
This is the sound of my Mopho keyboard. A simple step sequencer piece. Like my other tracks here on SoundCloud so far this is one audio track with lots of delay to shape the sounds. I used my Evolver desktop as an effects unit for the Mopho....a very interesting combination.
I recorded this at home with my Mopho keyboard connected to my Strymon timeline. I recently started a course at elektronmusikstudion (the electronic music studio) in Stockholm. So I added some more effects at this very cool studio. I specifically used a filter (vst plug) from Groupe de Recherche Musicale (GRM). GRM was Founded a long time ago by Pierre Schaeffer ...one the grandfathers of experimental music.
My Evolver desktop with effects from delay pedal Strymon Timeline. Both very interesting machines. Recorded in Ableton Live with some more effects there.
This track could be called "The Plot Thickens" part 3, because its based on almost the same sequence (notes) as my previous tracks The Plot Thickens and The Plot Thickens part 2.
It's my first piece of music on SoundCloud that's not made with my Mopho key.
The first piece of Part 2 of The Complete Jataka Tales. A story of a crow and a fox. The crow was eating rose apple fruits from the tree and sung happily. The fox came and wanted to eat the fruits, but they were too high. Usually praying birds like crows, the fox said to the crow how nice was its singing. The crow was even more happy because of the praise, so it picked a lot of fruits and let them fall to the earth so the fox could eat. An angel nearby saw what happened, then uttered how enemies can become friends without sincerity.
This is part 2 of my track The Plot Thickens. It's basically the same sound and sequence as the first one but with different effects. So..it's a dave smith Mopho keyboard connected to a dave smith Evolver as an effects unit...taking advantage of the Evolver's delay and filter. I recorded it in Ableton Live and I also used the delay plug-in "Timeless 2" from fabfilter (as I did on my previous two tracks). And ..there's some delay settings in Ableton. So it's three different delay sources on this one.
My first SoundCloud collaboration. Dennis Ramler from the great group Flowermout hhttps://soundcloud.com/flowermouth have remixed and added field recordings and bass to my track "Imperfections in paper".
So the musicians on this track are:
Fredrik Johansson (Fox and a Crow): synth and programing
Dennis Ramler (Flowermouth): Bass, field recordings, remix
some of the field recordings (machine sounds) comes from SoundCloud artist Gluid https://soundcloud.com/gluid-1
