Max Cooper Live - Panacea - Glade Festival 2012 Podcast

I'll be closing the Origin stage at Glade this year - 17 June 2012, which I'm really looking forward to, so when they asked if I'd like to provide a podcast for the festival I jumped right on it. This podcast will be very different from my set on the day, that will include all my favourite stuff from over the years, while this set is more of a preview and demo of my recent productions. My latest Egomodal EP on Traum features heavily, along with some recent remixes of Agoria, FC Kahuna and Phil Kieran which I've been playing out a lot recently. I hope you enjoy it! Allaby Live @ The Glade Festival 2005

ALLABY LIVE @ GLADE FESTIVAL 2005 This was the first ever Allaby live performance, closing the Nano Records 'Origin' Stage on a magic, Sunday summer evening in 2005. It's about this time of year that we start to miss the 'Glade Festival', the greatest dance music event the UK has produced. It's sad for me, not only because it was my favourite party but also they launched my career as a live electronic artist. So I decided to release this remastered performance as a tribute. The crowd noise is the audio taken from my brothers camera which filmed the whole set from the dancefloor. Long live 'The Glade'. [email protected] Track List - Sacred Cycles - Lazonby (Allaby Bootleg RMX) Spiritually Correct - Allaby Uniformilarity - Allaby + Aris Rodis Cloud 9 (Original Mix) - Allaby (Unreleased) Material Roach - Allaby (Unreleased) Lateral Thinking - Tristan + Allaby Uberstar - Allaby Imaginarium - Allaby Thanks to Aris Rodis for helping me compile this mix.

Boom Shankar - Glading (Glade Festival / Part 2: Onwards towards the Past)

Enjoy the second part of my Glade mix, this time some serious psychedelic groovy daytime Trance with a pinch of Tribal and Techno - all melted into a very vivid and threedimensional trip...music for psychedelic adults?! :) Artists include System 7, ManMadeMan, Pogo, Tristan and some other British pioneers... Have fun, please comment if you do and enjoy the ride in respect to Liquid!

Aquasky with Daddy Freddy and Frilla MC live at Breaksday, Glade Festival 2008

This was a fun gig... i remember the bloke climbing up the tent pole (bloody massive pole) and security turning off the music till he got down. Last thing you want is Freddy shouting at ya in front of thousands of people. He got down lol! Check for the impromptu version of the 'War' tune we did with Freddy back in 2002 from our album 'Stayfresh' on Moving Shadow. The lyrics still have meaning in 2013! Yeah, this was a fun gig... and i drank plenty of Black Rat cider :-/ Bigupz NSBRadio for recording the session!

17. Plaza De Funk - LIVE @ Glade Festival 2009

Plaza De Funk - LIVE @ Glade Festival 2009

What ever happened to Plaza De Funk ? Italian by birth Plaza De Funk moved to London in 2005 releasing award-winning records receiving huge support from the likes of Fatboy Slim, Elite Force, Plump DJs, Rico Tubbs & Black Noise. In 2008 he walked away from Breakspoll with the award of Best Breakthrough Producer but where is he now ? His last post on Facebook was in 2014. This mix was recorded LIVE at UK's Glade Festival in 2009 and shows the talent Plaza De Funk had for producing music and playing it out LIVE as a DJ. https://soundcloud.com/plazadefunk https://www.facebook.com/plazadefunk/

18. Daedelus FACT mix

Daedelus FACT mix

One of modern electronic music’s most reliable sages, Daedelus has been pushing his madcap takes on hip-hop, electronica and dance music since 2001. He’s released on a variety of labels – amongst them Ninja Tune, Warp, Plug Research, Brainfeeder and Stones Throw – which serves to reflect his own musical range: Daedelus releases, in the past, have ranged from fizzing house (2007′s ‘Fair Weather Friends’), to oddball jazz and hip-hop (2002′s Invention), through to collaborative computer folk (2009′s The Long Lost, recorded with Darlington’s wife Laura) and beyond. Way, way beyond, in fact. He’s not someone who likes to sit still, and sitting’s probably not too comfortable in those tight suits anyway. Darlington certainly doesn’t sit still on his FACT mix. Opening on Bone Thugs-N-Harmony’s classic alarm clock anthem ’1st of the Month’, it flies through dreamy footwork from Lil Jabba and Young Smoke, bouncing club cuts from Machinedrum, DJ Deeon and Kyle Hall, hip-hop from a Tribe Called Quest and Dead Prez… and you know what, this is pointless. There’s pretty much everything here, even Sonic Youth, and whereas in the hands of an amateur, it would sound like a complete mess, Daedelus makes it seamless and like stepping into a dream. Make sure you catch him on Overkill at Glade! (June 14-17). For more info go to http://www.gladefestival.com/ For Tickets go to: http://www.gladefestival.com/tickets/ BUT not before you download this mix.
