Powerlines Productions presents

Powerlines Productions returns with their new movie, "Ride On", a progressive big-wave surfing documentary that brings you into the minds and lives of surfers as they search for the largest rideable
waves the Pacific Ocean has to offer.

"Ride On" documents the arrival of the deadliest swell in decades, as surfers are left with a decision: surf Mavericks, with waves that many have compared to "100-Foot Wednesday", or Pescadero Point (aka Ghost Tree), a spot that now faces a ban on tow-in surfing on its biggest days. The film also includes footage from the fabled Nov. 29-30 swell that elite surfers are calling "the best paddle swell at Mavericks."
Also included in this non-stop drama: A trip to Alaska as surfers ride glacier produced waves, beach-break perfection in Mexico, the historic monster swell at Puerto Escondido and the worst wipeout ever witnessed at Mavericks.
Featured surfers include: Twiggy, Flea, Skindog Collins, Ion Banner, Greg Long, Tim West, Carlos Burle, Peter Mel, Garrett McNamara, Keali'i Mamala, Colin Dwyer, Tyler Fox, Mark Healey, Dominic Spinardi, Chris Loeswick, Ben Andrews, Alex Martins, Zach Wormhoudt, Anthony Tashnick, Dr. Benjamin Z. Darrow, Ryan Seelbach, Lance Harriman, Jesse Kinsella, Deputy Harbor Master Cary Smith, Shane Desmond, Alistair Craft, Derek Dunfee, Nathan Fletcher, Dave Wassel, Ben Wilkinson and The Flying Smith Brothers, Tyler & Russell.
THIS FILM WAS PRODUCED BY CURT MYERS // CHRIS WILSON // ERIC W. NELSON.

WAYALIFE : Florence Arizona Jeep Trails - Axel Alley & Highway to Hell

Come visit us at: http://www.WAYALIFE.com A while back, our good friends Greg and Dave from Powerline Patrol, invited Mel of Off Road Evolution, Cindy and I out to the Arizona desert to run a few of the trails they have out in the Florence Junction area. For those of you who've never been out to this part of Arizona, it is surprisingly lush with vegetation, filled with all kinds of history and has some of the most challenging trails I've ever run and, let me tell you, the rocks there are razor sharp. In all, we ended up running a total of 7 beautiful and epic trails including Box Canyon, Martinez Canyon (now closed), Jack Handle, Orville's Loop, the infamous Axel Alley, Upper Woodpecker and Highway to Hell and all in one scorching hot day. In this short video, you'll get to see some highlights of the trails and of course, all the fun we had playing on them. I hope you enjoy. More than just a Jeep, it's a way of life!

The Big Wave Project (Official Trailer )

The Big Wave Project - A Band Of Brothers Filmed and Directed by award winning ocean cinematographer Tim Bonython Short Synopsis: THE RAW AND UNCENSORED JOURNEY INTO ONE OF THE WORLD'S MOST EXCITING CHALLENGES: RIDING THE WORLD'S BIGGEST WAVE It is a production that is everything Tim Bonython lives for when it comes to documenting surfing. Big wave surfing has evolved so much over the past 10 years and his relationship with this genre of the sport that has grown more than any other. The Big Wave Project is about just that. It's everything from where its come from to where it is now. The production of the BIG WAVE PROJECT has taken Tim around the planet to interview the world’s most renowned big wave surfers to document the biggest & craziest waves. It’s a narrative film that will scare as much as it will exhilarate the viewer. “The Danger Level increases as we attempt to climb a mountain of water where the peak keeps getting higher” Alex Gray, big wave surfer. Five three years in the making, the BIG WAVE PROJECT follows a tight-knit crew of leading big wave surfers who are working together to attempt a personal goal that drills to core passion of surfing: Riding the World's Biggest Wave. We hear candid, personal, no-holes barred accounts as the real fear of death walks side by side with ultimate personal glory. The BIG WAVE PROJECT depicts the history of the how the sport has developed from humble origins to modern tow-in surfing with the latest challenges of returning to the simple art of unassisted paddling into 100-foot walls of water. This progression collides with the best swell season in 30-years as the World's best paddle and tow into some of the greatest waves ever documented including what has been titled "the biggest wave ever attempted” featuring Aaron Golds infamous massive paddle-in wave at Jaws, Hawaii. The BIG WAVE PROJECT also travels across Australia, Tahiti and finally to Europe's new frontier of Nazare, in Portugual. The BIG WAVE PROJECT incorporated the best surfers on the planet from around the world. Jamie Mitchell, Aaron Gold, Mark Healey, Ryan Hipwood, Grant “Twiggy” Baker, Billy Kemper, with insights from Peter Mel, Big Wave icon Greg Noll, the legendary late Brock Little and many more… A NEVER BEFORE SEEN RAW AND UNCENSORED JOURNEY INTO ONE OF THE WORLD'S MOST EXCITING CHALLENGES - RIDING THE WORLD'S BIGGEST WAVES. “The Danger Level increases as we attempt to climb a mountain of water where the peak keeps getting higher”. - Alex Gray, Big Wave Surfer. 5-years in the making “The Big Wave Project” follows a tight-knit crew (A Band Of Brothers) of leading big wave surfers who are working together to attempt a personal goal that drills to core passion of surfing - Riding the World's Biggest Wave. We hear candid personal, no-holes barred accounts as the real fear of death walks side by side with ultimate personal glory. "The Big Wave Project” also documents the history of the how the sport has developed from humble origins when the original big wave surfers paddled with little or no support to outer reefs through modern tow-in surfing on almost unsurfable reef breaks to the latest challenge of returning to the simple art of unassisted paddling into 100-foot walls of water.
