Los Angeles, California — Level 99 dubstep wizard 12th Planet is back with a vengeance, and luckily for us, he’s brought friends. The aptly-named “King of American Dubstep” has just announced his first major EP of the year which features collaborations with Protohype, Lumberjvck, Crichy Crich and more.
The ante-upping seven-track Gully Squad EP will be available on all major online retailers & streaming services on December 7th via SMOG.
Reminding listeners what bass music is all about, the heavy-hitting EP is a surefire reminder that dubstep is back and better than ever. Of the project, 12th Planet says, “This is my first big solo EP since 2012’s ‘The End Is Near’, I can’t wait to unleash these monsters on y’all."
Set to premiere on the esteemed This Song Is Sick, the EP’s massive title track features fellow bass monsters Virtual Riot and Twine, who says “'Gully Squad’ is a way of life. A mindset. It's about keeping it 100% with yourself and your squad at all times. An anthem for you and your squad.” 12th Planet calls the track “a certified headbanger.”
