Wow! This was definitely our longest episode ever. Being that Aretha Franklin passed away recently, we had to pay tribute in the best way possible and that was to bring in legendary R&B artist Peabo Bryson to the #SoulBackPodcast. They were very close friends, so we got to hear from his perspective the impact that she had on music as well as his life. We also talk about his new album "Stand For Love" which includes the hit record "Love Like Yours And Mine". We also discuss his involve in the Disney soundtracks and the importance of those songs to his career. On this episode we also talk about new music from Janet Jackson, Ashanti, Ariana Grande and much more. And of course, this was a crazy week when it came to R&B beefs so we tried our best to decipher each one.

The Soulback podcast is back with a new episode. We had so much to talk about in R&B this week that we decided a guest wasn’t necessary. We spend the majority of the podcast talking about Teyana Taylor’s heavily anticipated new album “K.T.S.E.” The Kanye West produced album was hyped for moest of the week and it’s finally out after a huge delay on Friday. We also talk about the new joint album from Beyonce and Jay Z and discuss whether people are getting tired of them. We also discuss the possibility of a Destiny’s Child reunion at this point in Beyonce’s career. We also talk about new music from Miguel, Mila J and Peabo Bryson. Lastly we talk about everything from Keri Hilson’s rumored new label situation as well as the lemonade flavored Sour Patch Kids. Check us out!
This is some of the music I was doing a few years ago. Some of the tracks were recorded with a great singer, musician and friend Don Thomas (he has the damn tenor stuff goin' !)The solo tracks were done after we parted ways (amicably!) Loved doing it and performing around L.A. , then raised my son, and now getting back into it! Lemme know if you like it!
