Vui lòng không Reupload dưới mọi hình thức, © All Copyright belongs to Sweepy. Do not Reupload

14. 09 - Zombie Nation - Sweepy

09 - Zombie Nation - Sweepy

Turbo Recordings is proud to present RGB, the fifth album from top-class veteran super-producer Zombie Nation. The LP's 14 tracks refine and expand upon the Munich studio genius' signature sound, making it a worthy successor to previous classics like Black Toys and Zombielicious, not to mention his groundbreaking work as half of cult demigods ZZT. This is some of the biggest-sounding dance music you'll hear all year, infused with a masterful attention to detail and one of the scarcest commodities in the genre: genuine character and personality. Since emerging on the scene with a track on the shortlist of the biggest stadium anthems ever ("Kernkraft 400"), Mr. Nation has delivered a stellar series of albums, EPs and remixes, in addition to becoming a popular draw as a mindblowing live performer. His sound combines handmade Italian grooves, stark German efficiency, and a decidedly pro-ethnic swing. There is nothing overtly trendy going on here, no stadium EDM or poolside lifestyle house. These are off-the-leash party tracks that dance to their own tune. This pioneer of crowdsourced music creation is an absolute master of the MPC, and a true analog studio wizard, resulting in a feel simultaneously loose and tight, like a pair of Munich disco-lederhosen - bursting in the crotch and open on the calves. RGB is the work of an artist at the peak of his considerable powers, featuring music that literally could not have been created by anyone else.

15. Zombie Nation - Sweepy (joeFarr Remix)

Zombie Nation - Sweepy (joeFarr Remix)

Turbo Recordings honors one of the best albums of 2012, Zombie Nation's RGB, with a solid selection of remixes from Zoo Brazil, Popof, Modek, TWR72, joeFarr and J. Tijn. Following the release of his 2012 album RGB, Zombie Nation is a producer at the height of his powers, massively respected by his peers. Now, Turbo has enlisted some of its favorite artists to give the album a remix package that reflects both its quality and versatility. The newest addition to Turbo's New Jack Techno stable, Bristol-based producer joeFarr's first EP for the label earned him instant recognition, and his follow-up EP -due this spring - is massive. Swedish veteran Zoo Brazil follows his string of huge Twin Turbo releases with yet another surefire peak-time bomb. Turbo also reunites with old flame Popof, hearkening back to the days before he became a big-name festival fixture. For this release, he brings his signature sound to one of the album's standout tracks. Meanwhile, our rich love affair with the nation of Belgium continues with a remix from emerging up-and-comer Modek, who delivers a stadium-sized banger worthy of his heritage. Dutch duo TWR82 counts the likes of Erol Alkan, Brodinski, and Laidback Luke as supporters. Their version of "Pony" is clanging big-room techno that's both stripped-down and jacked-up, if you can even imagine that. Finally, rising New Jack Techno star J. Tijn returns with more of the aggro, pounding warehouse techno he's becoming known for among people who know their shit. Praise for RGB: "Definitely something special about everything Zombie Nation is involved in." - Justice "Always a ZN fan!" - Boys Noize "I'm the biggest ZN fan" - Étienne de Crecy "No jokes, this stuff is big!" - Crookers "Awesome album" - Tocadisco "Genius man, this is some next level shit." - Sinden "Meathead is incredible!" - Mr. Oizo
