1. While My Guitar Gently Weeps

While My Guitar Gently Weeps

When I was a kid growing up in Montclair, NJ Joe Walsh used to talk to me about the value of embracing the Beatles catalog. This song features the phenomenal talent of Alan Prater on vocals. I’m playing all the instruments. It’s raw and honest. I get chills when I listen to it. We hope you like it too.

Odd Boy Blues - Instrumental - Ted Stilles

Odd Boy Blues by Ted Stilles Recorded by Ted Stilles (http://www.tedstilles.com/) for Aro Books worldwide (http://aro-books-worldwide.org/) for an advertisement for An Odd Boy (http://anoddboy.com/) by Doc Togden "I've been reading the new offering from Aro Books Worldwide, Doc Togden's "An odd boy volume two". It tells the true story of the blues band, Savage Cabbage. In the late 60's they were preparing to fill the void left by the breakup of Cream. Ahead of their time and filled with dreams it appears life had other plans for them...Told from the point of view of a young englishman lost in the blues, its a riveting look inside the world of four young lads trying to find their way during the height of the psychedelic blues era. A must read for the artist in all of us." -- Ted Stilles An Odd Boy - volume one (http://bit.ly/docaobv01) from Lulu (http://bit.ly/docaobv01lul) An Odd Boy - volume two (http://bit.ly/docaobv02) from Lulu (http://bit.ly/docaobv02lul) -- Aro Books worldwide http://about.me/arobooksworldwide

6. Homeless

Homeless

My wife is a social worker who cares very deeply for the disenfranchised. I wrote this song to help encourage dialog regarding the homeless issue plaguing humanity and to help raise monies for the cause.

7. Down There

Down There

Steve Washington and I go way back. When he sent me this track, once I fleshed out the guitars, I knew hers was the right voice for it. The voice of Jennifer Tessier touches me. This was our first collaboration of many.

10. Creation (overture)

Creation (overture)

The bed track was recorded live with Ghislain Nadeau on drums, Nathan Vanheuverzwijn on keyboard and me on guitar. I overdubbed the bass and extra guitars in one take to preserve the live vibe. Richard Brown, front man for the Québec band Rock Pilots, wrote the lyrics which expressed the spirit of the music perfectly.

Your Love (Gets Me No Good)

One of my oldest, dearest friends on the planet, Douglas A Allen III, had this groove. I felt inspired to run with it. Jennifer and her long time collaborator with The Wandering Willberries, Sylvie Jean did an extraordinary job on lyrics and vocals.
