Vincent van Gogh's drawings, up close(r) and (more) personal. It can be argued that without Vincent's brother Theo's financial and moral support, the drawings would never have existed. Perhaps their collaboration was essential for both, but there is no doubt that the world has been enriched by their creative gift due to their mutual journey in both life and art. Ludwig van Beethoven's "Pastoral" sixth symphony was created in the same time period as Vincent's drawings. The energy and expression of nature's forces in both their work, leads one to think of Vincent van Beethoven or Ludwig van Gogh...working through all the senses, their individual/mutual vision, and experience of nature's realities.
