Frederic Jeanneau was once a part of the corporate machine, he has spent years looking for a different path to a more fulfilling life.
His zen-like experiences beneath the surface of the ocean without supplementary oxygen drive him to new depths and allow him to observe marine species in a natural way.

A smog of microscopic plastic particles is suffocating our oceans, permeating every corner of our marine life, ecosystems and coastlines. Very little is known of the true extent of the problem, all that is certain is that we need to do all we can to stem the plastic tide.
Since Finisterre was founded in 2003, we have always sought to lessen our impact on the environment and use the brand as a positive force to effect change. This is especially so when it comes to protecting our seas.
With this in mind, we have connected with our community of fellow sea lovers; a material futurist, conservationist and activist to open up the conversation and address the issue. We have also created a summer collection to both bring awareness to the problem and give back
to the solution.
Stand together. Take Action.
Another piece I collaborated on with Gabor Ekes. The video inspired a 3 soundtrack EP to be announced. Vocals by Yoko K.

Narrated by Bob Saget, “Project Scleroderma: Beneath The Surface” is a film that documents the grass-roots mission of a young woman, Christy McCaffrey, from Philadelphia working to raise awareness for a scarcely known disease that took her mother’s life.
In this highly inspirational and hopeful story, viewers follow Christy as she works diligently to create a global movement to rally behind the patients who are suffering from this terrible disease. With the help of social media outlets, Christy connects to Scleroderma patients all over the world offering them a voice in this film as a platform to champion for their own cause.
The film is an intimate look into the everyday struggles and painful setbacks of Scleroderma patients blended with highly educational details about the disease from leading doctors and researchers to illustrate the primary message: “Scleroderma awareness simply cannot wait.”
All proceeds from this film will go to The Project Scleroderma Organization to help continue our efforts to find new ways of raising awareness for this disease.
We encourage you to share this film because without sharing we wouldn't be where we are today with this project!
Profile of artist Holly Thoburn as she prepares for her forthcoming solo show at No Walls - Scratching Beneath the Surface - a show that brings together a collection of works drawing on over 10 years of inspiration.
Holly traveled the world photographing decaying walls, doorways and surfaces from places as diverse as London, Berlin and Athens to India and Australia. For this exhibition some of the best of these photographs are recreated into densely layered and detailed canvases, each having been on a journey and story of it's own.

Beneath the Surface is a 2014 production that pushed the boundaries of what’s possible in virtual reality. Using one of the first Oculus Rifts, we immersed users in a 3D render of the Chrysler 200 while they were sitting in a real model of the car. In this unique setup, they could experience an audiovisual tour of the car and the Chrysler facilities that made it possible, showing the state-of-the-art craftsmanship beneath the surface. To help deliver this first-of-its-kind VR experience, W+K partnered with MPC Creative and our team in LA to actualize their creative vision for the project.

Beneath the Surface, a documentary by Stevan Riley, director of Fire in Babylon, that looks at the mental and physical challenges Rebecca Adlington faces in constantly improving her performance to stay at the top. At the same time it explores the success of the BMW 3 Series and how BMW's attitude to design and engineering has meant that, since its launch in 1975 the BMW 3 Series is still the ultimate family sports saloon.

We did this commercial last week for our friends at ReelWorld film festival. ReelWorld focuses on providing a platform for films made by people of visible minorities. We wanted to stay away as far as possible from the cliched 'Filmmakers making Promos for Film Festivals about Filmmakers making Promos for Film Festivals...' commercial.
We came up with the concept after some skype conversations with ReelWorld founder Tonya Williams (Young & the Restless). We wanted to get to the source as to why she started this festival 13 odd years back in Toronto. And what came about was some really interesting discussions right from 'providing a voice for people with ethnic diversity' to the 'global village' we live in today.
The 15 and 30 second versions of the TV spot goes on air on all major networks across North America (CityTV, Onmi, Global, Rogers etc) next week. Here is the full length festival version that launched the Press Conference of the 13 Annual ReelWorld Film Festival and will be screened everyday during the 5 Day Festival hitting the theaters of Toronto from April 10th -14th, 2013.
Best Regards and here's to us trying to scratch beneath the surface.
