Clovis - Jazz Mix Vol. 2 (Autumn 2018)

"If you feel like tapping your feet, tap your feet. If you feel like clapping your hands, clap your hands. And if you feel like taking off your shoes, take off your shoes. We are here to have a ball. So we want you to leave your worldly troubles outside and come in here and swing." ―Art Blakey It was time for a new one! I listened to a lot of records I had never heard before for this, and also included some favorites of course. The format is similar to the first one, I like doing blocks of 2-3 songs from a particular album or group, and Bill Evans is always great to start with. The time period is roughly the same, late 50s through the 60s, though it ends with a bit more experimental works from Pharoah Sanders from the 70s. Although it's almost an hour longer, there is a bit less variety of artists because lot of the pieces are longer ones, all really great works in my opinion. Downloading enabled, tracklist below. :) Enjoy! 1. Bill Evans - Gloria's Step (take 2) 2. Bill Evans - My Man's Gone Now 3. Bill Evans - Alice in Wonderland (take 1) 4.
