In my new track "Devotion" I continue to fulfill the mission of merging EDM with ordinary "human" music of a romantic direction. A dirty Dutch drop and a leisurely instrumental ballad seem to represent Umet Ozkan's "debate" with Boris Grebenshchikov. Usually, when you are trying to make such extremes friends, there appear frictions, such as rough seams or non-artistic, violent change of mood. But this time it all worked differently. This record will be interesting not only to house music lovers, but also to skeptics who talk about the inability to create new music and state that all music has already been written long ago. Listen and listen with me to what a modern EDM can and should be like.
Devotion, this word begins to be strong as soon as a new life comes into being. Any newborn child is moral, absolutely pure and devoted to parents who gave him life. Later, perhaps, he will become a liar or a scoundrel, but the feeling that binds him by nature itself, can not die. I tried to convey this emotion in relation to the musical content on the cover of the track. This is a high feeling, inexplicable from the point of view of ordinary human relations, living somewhere in the depths of each of us.
To be honest, "Noire" frightened me at first. His dark synthetic layers, enveloping the space of my room, and his oppressive atmosphere, gloomy and
infinitely beautiful, with difficulty formed into a single whole. Continuing my experiments, I could not imagine that I would come across a similar "electro
blues" that reminds of "WhiteRabbit" from Jefferson Airplane or something of this kind, that filmmakers like to use in drugthriller movies.
I fell in love with "Noire" not at once, but now I consider it to be my best work. It has everything I love:the powerful Dutch bit, the unpredictable
(the Guitar was made by my friend Denis Rostovsky), the dark and melodic piano, some gasoline, TNT and matches.
My newest track now including amazing vocals! Hope you all enjoy!
