Some live Peta-fied covers… This one was sung with the flu, but I wanted to challenge/prove to myself that I could still sing this regardless. Beauty is imperfection, imperfection is art. Enjoy!!! :)
Please Click "Follow" and listen to some of my original songs :o) Thanks xx
Dolly Parton & Sia - Here I am / Cover
Hi guys! Whats up? I'm in hospital but new a cappella cover ready! Watch video cover - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_JXI5g0XZWM&list=PLfXwD_rauFxZN9JAhjXrNNKtgG8O8kJOS #Sia #HereIamCover #DollyParton #cover
This is a new version of a remix I did way back in 1998 or 99... The original version of this was done on ACID Pro and took me ages to get right (and still sounds hideous to my ears) compared to this version that I did from scratch in Ableton and took me a couple of hours. I've replaced the drum track with something that I've liberally borrowed (i.e. stolen completely) to make this something more in line with what I play these days as the original remix was meant to be a house remix.
I shared the original with other DJ's back in 1999 and It was leaked to the internet without my knowledge or my name attached (which may have been a blessing really). It is still strange to hear the original remix being played in weird places like at the Olympic games or in videos on Youtube especially when I know that it came from my crappy pc in the loungeroom of my old flat that could barely cope with running ACID Pro....ah well...enjoy.

The great Dolly Parton in a song written by the great Kenny Rogers. This came from Youtube with a somewhat weak recording, which is not doing justice to the songstress and its composer. I had it enhanced to the extent I could in Adobe's Audition, but could not remix it coz I didn't have the separate tracks. Still, it's a wee bit better than when it first came over. How I wish I could have the separate tracks!
