Imagine Apollo 13 mission commanded by Mika Vainio and ERP and you might get an idea of the intergalactic atmospherics crawling from the new Phi chapter. Slovenian minimalism afficionado Evano returns to Phi with an icy pulse that starts the electro romanticism on the first track and soon turns to hypnotic four to the floor pace. Atonal minimalism intensifies with the last two tracks but manages to make the vacuum of music space sound incredibly human.

PHI is a music platform for mature artists with clear vision and distinct sound. Our goal is to allow our artists to express themselves in their own way, therefore providing us with intimate, innovative and unconventional electronic music for different listening settings. The first release features Evano – the artist we deeply appreciate for introducing us to a colorful yet untraditional spectrum of electronica and inspiring us with his keen observation of subtle details such music provides. His ability to combine contrasts, unexpected progressions and spot-on minimalistic aesthetic offers perfect insight into what PHI is all about and strives for in the future.
