This is one of mine. I was thinking of something kinda southern rock when I wrote it, with a chorus I could punch out. All vocals and instruments are me. I was going for a "Seven Bridges Road" kind of harmony at the end.
Kevin showed me this. It's apparently a part of a new solo project by one of the members of rebelution. We were fucking around with it in m room tonight and he taught me the guitar part. Or at least his interpretation of it, which seemed to be close enough. I believe with a little bit of work and your appreciation of the song and its theme can take this song a nice little long way. This was my first little take at it. Granted, I just learned it tonight, but it is simple enough that with a little bit of practice and sweet fluidity it can sound nice.

The first youtube video has the lyrics on it (they're kinda hard to find). And the second is kinda a cool way for us to get ideas as to how to sing/play it with some flair.
Late night/early morning boredom. Purely just a jam based around some fun stuff i was fucking with coupled with some old stuff im sure youve heard before. I messed with one of the effects on the amp and some distortion to see how thatd sound pre-amped and plugged in the way ive been doing it.
Beginning was obviously inspired by some watchtower intro business. Its not the same notes, but its the same strings, same/similar rhythmically the same even jumps between notes. However, with some sort of dark, distorted intro, id love to find a way to segue into that second part and obviously brush up on it too. Very rough, but its late and i had to record this idea somehow.
This is a test of me playing the song that's taking me too long to finish...and in fucking with the chorus effect i kind of figured out some new ideas for a bridge or another section of the song/a means of linking parts together. I didnt do any cutting or pasting or computer editing on garage band of any kind. I simply pre-amped thru joe's marshall and into my comp via the converter cable. From now on, this is where I will place notes to specific things i did regarding the song I post. Questions you may have about specific things or comments you can add at certain sections of the song by commenting. I believe you can create your own user name and use it to comment (not sure if you can do so as a guest). Either way, This is just a tester of me fucking around with the new setup, uploading some shit and seeing if we can make this little "private soundcloud" idea moving. Cheers boyo
