This is something unique for me. Thanks to my producer, Outre Lights, for helping me create the mood and feel. I sent him tracks to give him the feel I wanted; he used his talents to really bring it to life.
I recorded this for an online challenge, then turned over my tracks to my producer Outre Lights. Most of the credit for this final mix goes to Outre Lights, who took my more straight-forward tracks and brought them to a level more consistent with, but different from, the original.
An acoustic version of a song from my 1986 album Original SOundtrack, which was recorded using a $100 Yamaha home keyboard. This is an un-retouched cut from my October 8th concert at Workshop 13 Arts Center.
I wrote this song "to order" for a charity auction winner. She wanted to honor her daughter who won an award. This song channels that parental pride when our children persevere. Produced by Outre Lights, who also provided the lead organ.
