I love Erik Satie. I don't know if I'm feeling sad because I'm playing this or if I'm playing this because I'm feeling sad, strange feeling... I'm playing a bit too fast I think and it is probably lacking of drama because I learned this a few days ago only.
A beautiful and haunting melody from one of France's great composers, Eric Satie. While this piece is simple, it also has a great deal of emotional depth and it is the transmission of this that makes it so challenging to play, as with many of Satie's pieces.
