Just a rough, one-take, hear-me-kinda-trembling-from-the-touchy-lyrics record.
I just love the words to this song. I get to love you, it says. Like loving someone is a bragging right. A shot that not everyone so easily gets. A gift that will just leave you in weird moments where you have to pause in awe and say, Wow. I get to love this wonderful person. Of all people. Me. And every single day, whether it's a good or bad one, it makes you become your best self, one who makes loving the best thing he or she will ever do in life.
The difference between this kind of love and the falsified one is that with the latter, you tend to say I have to. But when it's right, you'll just say, I get to. It's not something you have to work hard for. You simply have to enjoy it because it has already been prepared for you, before you even called that person yours.
Again, it's not always a happy day, that much I know now. But when all has been said and done, you'll still end up choosing the heart of that person. Because it's your greatest gift. One that is truly yours forever.
To you who may be reading this, may you find this love someday soon. But if you feel that you already have, then please let not a day go by without letting that person know just how much someone is grateful for having the chance to love him or her.
