16. Mary Pat

Mary Pat

This is my first original song release, and it was written for and about the matriarch of my family. She is truly one of the best people I know, and it has been a real labor of love to work on this fitting tribute to her. 35 members of our extended family are recorded on this song, from my newborn niece at only four days old, to Mary Pat's brother in his 80s! I hope you love this song as much as we love Mary Pat! Special shout out to my friend, and amazing guitar player, Steve Becker, who played electric guitar for me on this song, and also to my co-writer, Lori McKenna, without whom this song would not exist.
