Chopstick & Johnjon - Listen (Original Mix)

I wouldn't believe it if I hadn't heard it myself… a brand new Chopstick & Johnjon EP! After almost 2 years the new studios are finally ready & fully functional and the guys treat us with a stunning 4 track EP. We've been waiting for this for a long time and the Suol head honchos aren't letting us down with their "Versions EP"! The first track is "Doin It" … the Hip-Hop influence is there from the very first second. Guitar licks and warm rhodes keys take you right to the massive bassline and you already get the feeling - this is gonna be intense. A Synth riff comes in and builds up to the main break - "all hands in the air for sure". "Listen" is second to none … soulful vocals from back in the days and an incredible jack, this one will hit the summer vacation playlist for sure. Stuck in the groove, you almost don't expect the turn it makes right in the middle. Rhodes, strings & the atmosphere take you on a trip to sunshine coast right before it drops back. nothing less than we expected. On 3 we have "Simma Da". Slightly more edgy than the rest "Simma Da" takes you on a ride to Hip Hop land. The rough sound and the vocals are merged into this fireball of energy. Chopstick & Johnjon wouldn't be the boys if they wouldn't drop some trance vibes in this during the breakdown .. pure musical passion. At last we have indeed "At Last". Get ready for an emotional roller coaster ride to memory land. Bassline, pads and strings all go their separate ways but never seem to leave the connection. You can't really tell if you wanna be dancing to this on your own or you wanna share the experience with a few hundred people. Decide for yourself. This EP is called "Versions" because the guys were influenced by the work of others and partially used samples to create these tracks. It felt wrong to earn money on it so they decided to donate the artists revenue to Paul Watson's Organization Sea Shepherd. More info to come… DJ SUPPORT Axel Boman - "Geil geil, my fav is Simma Da! Daniel Bortz - The Misery Feat. Nils Corssen (Nu And Acid Vs Pauli Remix) [SUOL] [MI4L.com]

We are honored here at Musicis4Lovers.com to be able to host the new remix from Nu and Acid Pauli of Daniel Bortz's beautiful composition, "The Misery feat. Nils Corssen". Daniel Bortz isn't a big fan of reckless experiments. A fact that makes this new release even more remarkable: he's breaking his own rule of not having his own tracks remixed. Needless to say, he didn't just pick anyone to get this job done. His choice fell on some highly esteemed friends and colleagues, resulting in a quite remarkable package. Acid Pauli and Nu give us their interpretation of “The Misery”, using Nils Corssen´s voice as a hook lead element, never losing the melancholy vibe of the original and still putting it into a rather dancefloor-compatible context. AVAILABLE April 25, 2014 artist: DANIEL BORTZ title: PATCHWORK MEMORIES REMIXES label: SUOL mixes: Nu & Acid Pauli / Tuff City Kids / Bostro Pesopeo cat #: Suol053 release date: 25/04/14

Yannick Labbé & Dominik Marz - Out Of This Cage Feat. Nils Corssen (Rampue Remix)

Double the trouble and you’ll triple the fun – after the end of Trickski earlier this year, Yannick Labbé decided to make a record together with one of his favourite upcoming producers: Dominik Marz. The result: the 3-tracker „Out Of The Other Side EP“ on Suol. „Out Of This Cage“ is a prime slice of leftfield house music featuring the quirky vocals of Nils Corssen (which some might know from his collab on Daniel Bortz’ album). „Other Side“ carries you off to the, erm, well … other side of house music – dreamy, melodic, it’s everything you need for the very early or very late party-moments. The Rampue remix of „Out Of This Cage“ finally injects some techno flavour into the whole package while integrating Corssen’s vocals even more than the original cut – made for the dancefloor, made of melodies.

Fritz Kalkbrenner - 2824 (Free download Bonus Track)

Two years after his stunning debut „Here Today Gone Tomorrow“, Fritz Kalkbrenner takes the next huge step in his career with his second album „Sick Travellin“. Coming hot on the heels of his „Suol Mates“ compilation in March, a mixtape infused with an eclectic variety of genres – from Soul to Funk, from Hip Hop to House, Fritz now takes all these influences and ideas, fusing them together to a sound that is ever so powerful and distinctively his own. The thirteen tracks on the new LP, produced in the only recently finished Suol-Studios in Berlin-Kreuzberg, have a more organic, mature sound than those on the debut. More vocals, more live instruments like Rhodes, Bass and Guitar, recorded by some of the best studio musicians around, and Fritz‘s trademark grainy, „breathing“ samples. Basically, a whole lot of Suol! Pardon me: Soul. „Sick Travellin“ playfully guides the listener from bittersweet melancholy and classical songwriting to loose, dreamy dancefloor moments. Vocal tracks like „Get A Life“, „Little By Little“, „No Peace Of Mind“ and last but definitely not least, his cover version of Gil Scott-Heron‘s „Willing“ (recorded in the same session as Fritz‘s Bill Withers-Cover „Ruby Lee“ for the Suol Mates compilation) once again showcase Fritz Kalkbrenner‘s extraordinary talent as a vocalist and his incredible gift for embedding Pop songs into beautifully crafted House music frames. But that‘s not all: the albums more forward tunes like „Square Heart“, „Monte Rosa“ or the club anthem „Hummin‘ Hills“ will trigger waves of euphoria on the dancefloors all around the globe. But „Sick Travellin‘“ is not only the next chapter of Fritz Kalkbrenner‘s impressive career, it also reaffirms his position among the most important German artists and voices fusing club and pop music. And that this is very far from the last step of his journey will become clear on his album tour, where you will be able to experience a new, impressive live show where Fritz combines the first and second album with beautiful visuals prepared especially for his performance. But up until then, there is enough time to dive into his newest album – and let yourself be enchanted by it.

Fritz Kalkbrenner - Void (Radio Edit)

With the release of 'Ways Over Water', Fritz Kalkbrenner brought us his musically rich third studio album in October 2014. For 2015 Fritz Kalkbrenner is not only touring Europe extensively – he has also a brand new single ready for his fans and listeners. 'Void' - which will be available on his Berlin homebase label Suol in January 2015 - continues where 'Back Home' ended. The new single with a very strong chorus based on well made lyrics sits perfectly on that almost classic Deephouse Beat. You find all those charismatic, emotional and sometimes melancholic moments in here which are Fritz Kalkbrenner’s well received trademark elements. 'Void' comes with a strong remix package covering various musical directions and styles. The Baron Dafoe Remix uses a strong UK sounding piano backing track which makes totally sense with Fritz singing on top of it in fine form. The Brazilian legend Gui Boratto delivers a filteresque House Remix with a stomping beat working perfectly with the song. German Dj/Producer Andre Hommen hailing from Dennis Ferrer’s Objektivity camp creates a great minimal driven atmosphere with his remix leading the vocal to a great big room moment with additional chords and synthpatterns. On top the german newcomer Talul delivers a fine piece of progressive house rework to round up a great bundle of Remixes which also contains various dub mixes.

Till von Sein - Booty Angel Feat. Kid Enigma (Johnjon Remix)

Get it on iTunes: http://tinyurl.com/ns6uv4k Beatport: http://tinyurl.com/o5j3tjb Pre-Order album "Precious": http://tinyurl.com/ll8dt3f "Booty Angel feat. Kid Enigma" is the first single from Till von Sein's second solo album Precious. A track that triggers emotions ranging from totally uninhibited hip-swaying to slight blushing, while tipping its hat to perhaps the most important icon in R'n'B: The female buttocks. Sir Mix-a-lot, Destiny’s Child, Eminem, LL Cool J, Big Sean, J-Lo – the list of artists who have sung the praises of the big booty in their work is a very long one indeed. And Tilly joins the party with his latest pop hymn. It's no surprise that a theme like booty would spawn a diverse range of different remix approaches: Johnjon filtered the original down to its funk core, approaching it from the deep-chilled Techhouse genre, almost inviting latex-clad listeners to dish out a few saucy bum slaps. In contrast, the lead organ in the Tender Games arrangement conjures up the acoustic background of a quickie in stadium toilets. The track's disco-like groove and bassline are hot on the heels of the original in terms of sex appeal. This remix collection is topped off by Jimpster's rework, which goes all satin sheets on us with its sustained notes, rustling percussion and tweaked vocals, teasing out every last drop of depth from the track.
