3. Draw on the Plinth

Draw on the Plinth

The boys read the instructions on the page, which was to draw something old on one plinth and something new on the other. Harry chose to draw a two headed tyrannosaurus (old) with an "Ogres' head on his bottom", and Hamish drew a Nasa spaceman (new) with a 'triple times" sword. They drew and talked for 1 hour, their characters metamorphosing frequently and the story climaxing in the Big Bang theory. Shame we couldn't make a feature film! Just a delicious snippet creatively edited by Daniel. Draw the Line (Fashion Film)

A short film by Jonny Zeller and Estudio MOL. There's a line between us and unhealthy relationships. Sometimes that line is pretty clear, and we move away from the thing that is hurting us. Sometimes that line is blurry and we find ourselves in a bad situation, wondering how we got there. That's when we have to step back and redraw our limits before we move forward. But there are also times we are afraid of experiencing new things. Of exposing ourselves. Of making mistakes. Times when we are the ones closing ourselves off. Times when the only way to grow is to step out of the boxes we've drawn - our so-called comfort zone. Either way, as difficult as it can be, we have to take control of our lives. How about you? Where do you draw your line? --- CREDITS Directed by: Jonny Zeller Produced by: Estúdio MOL Director of Photography: Ching C. How to Draw Hands by The Drawing Academy

Drawing hands is known to be notoriously hard and an exercise that takes a long time to master. Maja Meisner Vendelbo, our instructor at The Drawing Academy, is here to guide you through the process. If you're interested in learning how to draw the rest of the human body and the world around you, read more about our classical drawing course: http://www.animwork.dk/en/course_content.asp About the Drawing Academy: At The Drawing Academy, we approach drawing as a craft with reference to baroque and renaissance masters as well as to more recent artists working with representing and interpreting reality. During the semester course, we train the student’s ability to draw the human body and the world around it in different ways. Virunga, Draw The Line At Oil

Heard of Virunga? It's Africa's oldest national park, and a treasured World Heritage Site. Rainforests, volcanoes, rare and beautiful wildlife - Virunga has it all. People who live and work there know it's a very special place. But Virunga is at risk of becoming Africa's newest oil field. When we heard UK oil company Soco might explore for oil inside Virunga, we had to draw the line. Some places are just too precious to exploit. Sign up at panda.org/virunga #sosvirunga RID 3729

As these pictures stir his thoughts, he begins to notice the world around him and to reflect upon his own place within it.
